My Thoughts:
The most useful tip that I have learned by watching Beauty Videos on Youtube and by reading Beauty Blogs is that Drug Store make up and skin care products work just as well if not better than high end makeups and skincares. I use to think that you would only get good results if you spent more money on a product. Man was I wrong!!! I have spent A LOT of money (mainly my future hubbys *wink*) on high end products found in Sephora, Ulta, and Macy's. Guess a gal has to learn the hard way!I purchased the e.l.f Studio Makeup Clutch Palette at Big Kmart. It looked cute and I had yet to try an e.l.f palette. Come to think to think of it, I have only tried lip colors from e.l.f. At first glance, I loved the range of colors. The colors of the blushes made me smile and I was already eyeing a brow kit from them. These were all in one! A must have!
I usually color coordinate my eyeshadow colors to the color of the shirt I might be wearing that day. The particular shirt I picked out was one that I usually use my Bare Minerals Happy Place Quad. I felt a bit disappointed that I was going to miss my little quad that I have fallen madley in makeup love with :( No worries I thought! The e.l.f palette has a great color range. I opened the palette and glanced at the colors and low and behold! What is this that I see at the bottom left corner?! Why, those colors are similar to the colors in my Happy Place Quad!
Take a look at this comparison pic!
I would say that the colors are pretty dang similar! That being said, lets take a look at how the shadows looked on my eyes using the e.l.f palette:

These two pics were taken after my long 10 hour day. Wow! Great staying power! I did use an eyeshadow primer.
I enjoyed the Eyebrow Powder and Eyebrow Wax. It was a little light for me because my hair is nearly black.
I used the Peachy Blush and the Bronzer. All you have to do is barely tap the brush in the color. A lot of product comes off. The Bronzer is a little dark, but can be toned down with any loose powder. The Blush and Bronzer had great staying power!
I have only created the one eyeshadow look from the palette but am sooooo looking forward to seeing what I can create with this palette. The Greens are AMAZING!! My only con is that I wish the lip products were better protected. If you are not careful the fallout from the powder products can end up in the lip color.
Overall, this would be a great gift for anyone! You have a great color range and can even go a little smokey. Great for traveling! I'm thinking this would be great as an introduction to makeup for beginners. I would say that if you are ready to step out of your comfort zone and move on to colors that are a little more bold, then this is for you as well. If you have any questions about this product, please let me know!

And then there are the lips........... I dreaded trying the lip product. I pulled out my lip application brush and applied the coral color. I am pretty sure I even moaned while applying the product dreading how dry it would feel. I smacked my lips together and was like "What is this on my lips? It feels so creamy and moisturizing! Could it be? Why Yes Yes it must be! Becca is in makeup love with this palette!"
