Easy Nail Art Fun!

Hello Fellow Beauty Lovers!!! I wanted to share a nail look that I created. I love to paint my nails once a week. Usually I reserve that time for Sunday's. I have weird routines. Sunday's and Wednesday's I do  a face mask. But anyway! Check out these lovely nails! It looks like it took awhile, but I promise that it didn't and the process was very easy!  Here is how I came up with the look....

1) First I added a base coat. My favorite is the Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top Coat.

2) I painted my nails with two coats of yellow nail polish

3) I chose a few bright colors from my collection. I added a few drops of the bright colors on a paper plate.

4)I pulled open a bobby pin and dipped the end in the nail color and then dotted the color on my nails. It made the perfect little dots!

5) Last I added a top coat, again using the Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top Coat.

6) I topped it off with a clear coat of Dazzle Dry. This stuff drys nails so quick and keeps the polish from chipping.

~ A Very Happy Birthday! ~

            Yesterday was my birthday and I just had a fantastic time! On Monday I had the day off from work. I spent the morning spending time at the social security office and motor vehicles to change my last name since I just got married. I surprisingly did not spend as much time there as I thought. I spent the rest of the day at the pool with my kids. We had a mini birthday party. It was way fun and super relaxing.
            First I wanted to tell you about the make up look I went for on my birthday. Surprisingly, I wanted to to do a naturally pretty look using my favorite color, pink! Usually on a special occasion, I go for a dramatic look, but I wanted to be "pretty in pink" I used a light pink cream eyeshadow as a base and topped it with a light pink powder shadow with a bit of shimmer. In my crease, I selected a light brown/burgundy color. I used a light pink blush and a light pink lip gloss. I hope you like it! I think the overall theme was "light pink". LOLOL. I wanted to share what my husband and kids got for me for my birthday. I was way excited. If you enjoy my blog, please pass it along as the best birthday present from my viewers! Nintendo 3DS Game: Tomodachi Life

I love playing my Nintendo 3DS XL!!! My husband got me a game that I have been wanting called Tomodachi Life. I really enjoy playing games that are role playing and "sims like". So far I have had great fun with this game. I love creating characters that look and have the same personalities of family and friends!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

I have been loving false lashes and really wished that I could find a mascara that gives my lashes enough lift and volume so I did not feel the need to wear the false lashes everyday. I have tried quite a few mascaras and received a deluxe sample of Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I really loved the volume, lift and the fact that it held a great curl to my lashes. My husband and kids bought me a full sized version for me.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Everlasting Burgundy

I really love the staying power of this lip product. It feels a bit heavy and dry on the lips so I add a gloss on top. Perfection is the result!! The color is so opaque and so true to color. I really love this product Sephora! Thank you!!

Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray

I am totally in love with all Urban Decay products but most recently I have been loving the All Nighter Setting Spray. I check the Sephora app everyday for new products and this one caught my attention awhile back. I recommend that you click on the blue link above to view the product details. I think you will find this product intriguing especially if you love facial sprays. I am really enjoying the spray and will give it a full review once I have tested the product for awhile!

Sephora Beauty Insider July Birthday Gift by Make Up For Ever

I do not own or have ever tried any products from Make Up For Ever. I was excited to receive this Birthday gift from Sephora. As a Beauty Insider, you receive a free gift in your birthday month. I received a delux sample of mascara "Smoky Extravagant" and Rouge Artist Lipstick in Natural N9. I can't wait to give Make Up For Ever a try!

I am really impressed with the Allure Sample Society Box this month! I wanted to share what surprises are in it this month. I have been a little disappointed in the boxes that I have received in the past few months. I enjoy receiving make up the most in the beauty boxes. I am less interested in all the facial skin care moisturizers because of my oily skin. I seem to get a lot of those. This is what I have received! Fekkai PrX Reparatives Intense Fortifying Masque (1.69 oz)  Retails: $24.99

I really love hair masks! Im in love with the It's A 10 Hair Mask. This one smells so good. I am excited to try it. Fekkai website says that the mask moisturizes, strengthens, and helps temporarily repair damage along the hair shaft. The key ingredients are Argan oil and dimethicone (to moisturize). I have never used Fekkai products before, so I am so excited to give this puppy a try this weekend!

Butter London Nail Lacquer in Bobby Dazzler (Full Size) Retails: $15.00

For the past few years, I have had "solar nails" up until the past couple months. I decided that along with starting my new Beauty Blog, I wanted to review nail polishes as well. This polish seems to get decent reviews. I do see some reviews where the polish seems to chip easy. I am pretty good at layering the polish on well with a base and top coat so I am really excited to give this a try. It looks so pretty and metallic! I will definitly be reviewing this polish. Especially because of the price. I find it hard to believe that a polish would be worth spending $15.00. It better be some amazing polish!

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris Aqua Universalis Eau de Toilette (0,06 fl oz)/ Retails: $175.00 for 2.4 ounces

I am not much of a perfume fan. My first impression of this is that it kinda smells alike a bottle of bubbles. (**sniffs again**) Yep! Definitely smells like a bottle of bubbles! I will wear it tomorrow and see how the scent lasts through the day.

L'Oreal Paris Extraordinaire by Colour Riche Liquid Lipcolor in  #101 Rose Melody (Full Sized Product)    Retails: $9.99

L'Oreal states that this lip color is a moisturizing, high-shine liquid lip color that comes in 16 shades. They say that the color is opaque and feels silky because of all the oils that are in it. It contains Camellia, Argan, Lotus, Vitamin E and Rose Hip. I did wear this today throughout the day and agree that it is very moisturizing. I would say that the color is pretty sheer unless it is applied heavily. Very pretty and comfortable on the lips. I will give a full review once I have worn it more.

Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Highlighter 01 (0.06 oz) / Retails: $36.00

Even though this highlighter is a sample, I could tell by using it today that this is going to last me quite a few months. You will just want to keep in mind that even though the name says that it is "Matte" it in fact is not. It has a nice pretty shimmer and glow. I think that it is perfect.
