Becca's November 2014 Beauty Favs!

Hey Beauties! Its time for Christmas!! YEAH! Here are my November Favorites! I hope that everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving! I sure did. I love spending time with my family and just to hang out and laugh. I am grateful for so many things this past year. A lot has happened. I am very blessed to have such a great family, friends, husband, kids. I am very happy! Not all days are perfect and I run into battles of depression and anxiety. God gets me through it. There may be pain in the night but joy comes in the morning. Most of the time it is not the very next morning. It could be a morning a year, week or day from now. My most recent morning came in a year. The good Lord saw me through. Life is hard and I will face more battles in the future. Praise God for his never ending love!

Love,
Rebecha

A Verse To Remember:
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. ~James 1: 2-6

Clean+ Shine Control Cleansing Gel
Quite frankly the BEST face wash that I have used in a long time. My pores have changed for the better drastically. Does not over dry my face and is just amazing. I hardly ever buy seconds on face wash because I am always looking for that one hidden gem. I think I found it and I am so happy that it can be bought at the drugstore and not at a high end store which can be very costly for skincare. I use this cleanser with my Clarisonic in the evenings and I just use my hands in the morning. Im  happy gal with this wash to start and finish my day!

Anastasia beverlyhills brow powder duo                        In Granite

I really loved this brow product for the month of November. When I look back at other pics of me and how I did my brows I always think "what was I thinking!?" This brow powder fills in my sparse brows well and makes them look quite natural. Bravo Anastasia! XOXO

The Royal Lip Lustre Crème Set 4099-ROYAL

GREAT BUY! These glosses are a newer release from Lorac for their Holiday sets this year. The glosses are very nice and highly pigmented. I recommend using a liner with the glosses because they tend to bleed outside the lip line. Nothing that cant be fixed immediately! I am so impressed with Lorac and the products that I own from them! Cheers to Lorac!

Dear Urban Decay, I love you! You are what started making me comfortable in working with colors that were out of my comfort zone. Your shadows are amazing and priceless. I love the bright, vibrant colors. (I don't own any of the Naked Palettes, but you can surly send a dear, loving, supporting fan these... *wink*). Ladies, this palette is fab! My only concern is that the matte colors seem to kick up a lot of powder. Use a light hand beauties!

cheeky sweet spot

This is my very first Benefit purchase and I am not disappointmed! I have to say first that the brush in this brush palette can be put to great use.  I use it to contour. It is thin and dense enough to accomplish just that! Hoola is Da Bomb! I wont need any blushes for a long long time... he he he. Packaging is adorable and looks so cute out on my vanity for the holidays! Yeah!

Garnier 5 SECOND BLUR INSTANT SMOOTHER

 5 Second Blur Instant Smoother

Literally "5 Second Blur". Great to use as a primer before your foundation. I really love this product because it evens out my skin and preps great before I apply my makeup. I pout because I have large pores, uneven skin tone, and weird texture to my skin. I think that is perhaps due to the severe acne I had as a teen. At any rate, this product evens out and fills in those uneven skin textures. I have oily and acne prone skin. This product works well with that. Give it a try!

Rimmel Scandal Eyes waterproof kohl liner in Nude

I use this lovely nude liner on my lower water line. My lower lash water line gets pretty red after eyeshadow and mascara application. This liner really helps my eyes to appear more awake and refreshed. I am looking forward to finding a liner with a more pinky tone to it, but this suites well. Stays on great too. This liner makes me have a happy face. :D

No Clump Mascara | Clump Crusher LashBlast Mascara

I Love this mascara to use on my bottom lashes. Adds lots of volume and absolutely zero clumps! I need a new one. Mine is dried out! Many beauty lovers have given this mascara a nice home! Yeah to Clump Crusher! *Hugs*

Mario badescu glycolic acid toner

 Glycolic Acid Toner

I am all about the prevention of wrinkles and a more even skin tone and texture. This product tends to be a little hard on my skin to use it every day. I use the product about 2 to 3 times a week. This cleans deep down in my pores and has helped to lighten acne marks and scars. A little goes a long way! I HIGHLY recommend this toner!

e.l.f Eye shadow brush

This brush is amazing on packing eyeshadow onto your lid! I use it everyday! I love e.l.f brushes. Especially with their studio line. URGENT MESSAGE: VISIT THE ELF WEBSITE AND GET 50% OFF ALL PRODUCTS. OFFER ENDS IN 7 HOURS! Anyway, $1.00 for this lovely brush! You need this ladies! Trust me *wink*

Israel & New Breed / Face Of The Day

A Verse To Remember:
Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. ~John 6:35

I wanted to share some feel good music today. I love Israel & New Breed. Him music is amazing and lifts my spirits! Anytime I am feeling down, all I have to do is turn on some Israel and let the Good Lord do the rest! One of the most personal ways that God speaks to me is through music. I hear it and it really makes sense to me. Sometimes it is hard to pull out your Bible and try to focus on reading when you are feeling very depressed or if other things are going on. When this happens to me, I just turn on music. I am so grateful for the amount of amazing talent He has brought into this world to help share in the Gospel.. I HIGHLY recommend picking up Israel & New Breeds recent album titled Jesus At The Center (Live). Every song on the album speaks to my heart and soul and is such a blessing. I am so looking forward to a new album...... In the near future Israel? Please take time to view this video and listen to the lyrics. Please share with me a song that touches your heart as well!

                                               God Bless,

Frozen's Elsa Inspired Look!

Alright Becca's Beauties!!! I hope that everyone has been well and healthy! I am so excited to share with you all this look! I LOVED the movie Frozen and had to try to duplicate the look of Elsa! Her eye makeup was so pretty! I think that I did a pretty dang good job :) The good news is that it is pretty easy to combine. It takes a pretty good deal of blending, but all beauties know that! I look forward to the challenge of duplicating more looks in the future. Please give me some requests! Please let me know if you have any beauty or prayer requests! I am here for you! Thank you so much for viewing and for all of your support!

                                                              Love,
                                                                        Rebecha

A Verse To Remember:
~My Flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26
~Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Here are the colors that I worked with. These are all Urban Decay Shadows (Which are my fav) but you can use any of course! You will need a mid-tone purple, a lighter purple, a magenta pink, and a copper-pink)

1) First and always I applied a primer. I use Urban Decays Ultimate Primer Potion in Anti Aging.

2) I applied the mid-toned purple on the inner and outer part of my lid leaving the middle of the lid bare.

3) Next I applied the lighter purple color in the middle of the eyelid. I blend the color into the darker colors on either side.

4) With a crease brush I applied the magenta color to the crease and did a lot of blending.

5) I then took the copper-pink shade and blended softly above the magenta color. Blend....Blend.....Blend.... So Pretty!

6) This is my favorite step! My favorite product right now? Lorac's 3D Liquid Luster. Take a drop of this dream glitter and dab a small amount on the center of the eyelid. Oh yeah!!!

6) I used a black gel eyeliner on my upper lash line and a black pencil liner on my bottom waterline and lash line.

7) Applied a  coat of mascara to the top and bottom lashes and for a finishing touch, added some pretty false lashes.

~ Something In The Water!~

Must be "Something In The Water" so says Ms. Carrie Underwood and you know I have to agree! Bravo for her on this newly released song titled "Something In The Water". Please take the time to click on the video and take a listen. I fell in love with the song instantly. I played it on repeat all this morning while getting ready for work. It is incredibly uplifting. Being Baptized is a big step and an incredible journey that you take in your Spiritual walk with the Lord. Check out my blog post about my son getting Baptized Here. Take a listen beauties and feel inspired! God is good and he loves you! I do too! Please reach out to me via facebook, email, instagram, or twitter if you have any prayer request of if you have any beauty questions or requests!

                                                       Love Always,
                                                               Rebecha

A Verse To Remember:
If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. ~1 John 4:15

"Something In The Water"
He said, "I've been where you've been before.
Down every hallway's a slamming door."
No way out, no one to come and save me
Wasting a life that the Good Lord gave me

Then somebody said what I'm saying to you
Opened my eyes and told me the truth."
They said, "Just a little faith, it'll all get better."
So I followed that preacher man down to the river and now I'm changed
And now I'm stronger

There must've been something in the water
Oh, there must've been something in the water

Well, I heard what he said and I went on my way
Didn't think about it for a couple of days
Then it hit me like a lightning late one night
I was all out of hope and all out of fight

Couldn't fight back the tears so I fell on my knees
Saying, "God, if you're there come and rescue me."
Felt love pouring down from above
Got washed in the water, washed in the blood and now I'm changed

And now I'm stronger

There must be something in the water
Oh, there must be something in the water

And now I'm singing along to amazing grace
Can't nobody wipe this smile off my face
Got joy in my heart, angels on my side
Thank God almighty, I saw the light
Gonna look ahead, no turning back
Live every day, give it all that I have
Trust in someone bigger than me
Ever since the day that I believed I am changed
And now I'm stronger

There must be something in the water
Oh, there must be something in the water
Oh, there must be something in the water
Oh, there must be something in the water
Oh, yeah

I am changed
Stronger

I'm free

~ Becca's Take On Urban Decay's Vice 3! (Swatches & 5 Eye Looks) ~

 in color
A Verse To Remember:
The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous. Proverbs 15:29
May the Lord direct your hearts into Gods love and Christ's perseverance. 2 Thessalonians 3:5

Hello Lovies! I have something great for you today!! Urban Decay is hands down my favorite! I LOVE their eyeshadows! They are very unique, have great staying power and are beyond fun to work with! I love the shadows that include sheen and glitter the most. I am a glitter type gal and rarely go all matte. If I don't have a shimmer in a certain color, then I usually add the Lorac 3D Liquid Lusters! But at any rate... I had to pick up the Vice 3 Palette on Day 1 of the release! Great value for the number of colors that you get (20). The palette is $60.00 and I purchased it from Urban Decays Website (I couldn't wait for the release at Sephora or Ulta!) Please click on the Urban Decay link for more detailed information about this amazing palette! I hope that you enjoy! Be sure to let me know what you think about my review and the Vice 3 Palette! Also, which is your favorite look? Have a prayer request? Visit me on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook

Love Always,
 Rebecha

Swatch Time! I wanted everyone to get a good look of the shadows in both Natural and Indoor lighting. I did use a thin layer of Urban Decays Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Anti Aging before I swatched the shadows (most gals use eyeshadow primer).

Top is Natural Lighting and Bottom is Indoor Lighting

From Left to right Row 1: Truth , Dragon , Vanity , Alien , List Sin
Row 2: Undone , Freeze , Lucky , Alchemy , Angel

Top is Natural Lighting and Bottom is Indoor Lighting

From Left to Right Row 1: Downfall , Heroine , Reign , Bondage , Defy
Row 2: DTF , Brokedown , Bobby Dazzle , Sonic , Revolver

Look 1
I used Last Sin all over my lid, Bondage into the crease and Sonic blended above the crease. I also applied Last Sin, Bondage and Sonic on my bottom lash line. I added Truth to the brow bone

Look 2
I applied Bondage all over my lid, Sonic into my crease and Bobby Dazzle on the brow bone. I also applied Bobby Dazzle on the inner corner and Sonic, Bondage on lower lash line.

Look 3
I applied Revolver all over the lid, Defy into the crease and Angel blended above crease. I applied Bobby Dazzle to the brow bone and inner corner. Angel and Revolver was blended under the bottom lash line

Look 4
Dragon all over the lid, Freeze blended into the crease and above the crease and Bobby Dazzle on the brow bone. I applied Dragon and Freeze under the lash line.

Look 5
DTF into the crease for transition, Brokedown all over the lid, Reign into the crease and blended above the crease and Last Sin on brow bone. Heroine was applied to bottom lash line as a pop of color.

So what do I think?
Great, Amazing, Super Palette! Perfect for Fall! The shadows seem to kick up a lot more powdery fallout compared to the last two Vice palettes, but I am pleased! As you can see from the looks, the palette is very versatile and is worth the spend. Urban decay palettes last me ages! The outside packaging is cute. I would rather have seen the push button opening, but still cute. The mirror is nice and so is the brush. This is definitely one that will sit out on my vanity because of the beautifully done packaging! The colors are gorgeous and the swatches don't seem to do the palette justice. Perhaps I need a better camera? Some of the colors although appear matte at first glance, do have some small sheen at close glace. The shade to appear to go on matte though. Great transition shades! My favorite shade has to be Sonic! In conclusion, Vice 3 is amazing and I wish I had the opportunity to try out the Limited Edition Vice that sadly was only available for a brief moment for certain beauties. Dear Urban Decay, feel free to send me that one to review (wink) Love, Rebecha
