Ariana Grande Make Up Inspired Look
A Verse To Remember:
For the Bible verse for this blog entry, I have to give props to one of my favorite You Tubers Kandee Johnson because of her amazing video post that she put up today. Please visit her You Tube channel and check out her latest inspiring video. The following verse came to mind as I was watching her video
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. ~Romans 8:28
I have really been enjoying Ariana Grande's unique voice and I think that she is just the cutest thing! She is so petite and small. I just want to pinch her cheeks like a grandma would their grand-kids. LOL. I enjoyed watching her on Nickelodeon ("sad face" because Sam & Cat is no more). I appreciate that I can listen to her music without any foul and negative language. I did pick up her new album that was released yesterday and I am loving it! I watched the Video Music awards the other day only to watch her opening performance and to catch her make up style for that day. This is her usual look that she recreates often. Sadly, this was the hardest for me to create. I do well with makeup application, but I EPIC FAIL at winging out liner. I try so hard, but it just isn't working for me. I look like a vampire with my light skin compared to hers! Her skin is naturally beige. I kept my eyebrows pretty light compared to how I am use to filling them in. Very minimal eyeshadows with a strong focus on the black winged out liner. I don't notice any harsh contours but do see a really pretty coral type light blush. I noticed zero glitter. She appeared to keep her makeup pretty matte. Her lips are a pretty red and looked fab! Here is what I came up with to recreate the look Becca Style! Holla!
Love,
Rebecha
I used the Lorac Pro 2 Palette on my eyes!
1) I applied Lt Brown into the crease and did a lot of blending.
2) I applied Nectar into the crease and blended as well. Last
3) I applied Nectar all over my lid.
4) I used Maybelline Black Gel Liner to create a winged liner look.
5) I curled my lashes and added mascara. I did not notice any false lashes, so I skipped that step.
6) On my cheeks I added a bright pinky reddish blush and over top applied a bronzer to tone down the brightness of the blush.
7) I lightly filled my brows in.
8) I found a MAC Lipstick that I own in "Brick-O-La" as the closest color that I own to mach Ariana's red lipstick look.
