Black/Dark Smokey Eye By Request!

A Verse To Remember:

Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father". So you are no longer a slave, but God's child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir. ~Galatians 4: 6-7

Last week I asked on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter what my readers wanted to see next on my blog and you responded! I picked a challenge from my girl McKenzie from work. She said that she wanted to see me work with all black products to get a dark smokey eye without looking like a raccoon. I took that challenge and created something great to compliment my dark hair and blue eyes. I used all black products with a fun spin of shimmer on top. This look, while intimidating, was so easy to create and only took a couple of steps. What do you think? Anytime you want to see something new or want to give me a nice challenge, just let me know! You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. You may also email me at beccasbeautyblessings@gmail.com Here's how I did it!

                                                         Love,
                                                             Rebecha

1) First I applied a black base using Jordana's 12 hr Made To Last Eyeshadow Pencil in 02 Stay-On Black
I used this pencil all over my lid and upper and lower water lines.

2) I used Sephora's Smudge Brush to blend the black evenly onto my lids.

3) I applied Urban Decay's Blackout Eyeshadow all over my lid and smudged under my bottom lashes. I also blended the color lightly up and into my crease.

4) I dabbed just a little Lorac 3D Liquid Luster in Silver. The color Silver is Limited Edition, so the Lorac 3D Liquid Luster in Diamond would look amazing too.

5) I topped off the look by curling my lashes and applying my currently favorite mascara Too Faced Better Than Sex.

Here's A Quick Tip: I applied the eye look first because of "fallout". I was able to clean up any fallout using a make up removing wipe and  then applied my foundation.
